Chattooga & Chickamauga Railway is part of CAGY Industries, which was organized for the purpose of serving as a holding company for various railroads and railroad service corporations. The corporation's wholly owned subsidiaries include Railway Management, Luxapalila Valley Railroad and the Columbus and Greenville Railway Company. The corporate structure of the holding company provides flexibility and allows the corporation to provide better and more varied services. The C&G Railway provides feeder traffic for interchange with other railroads, as well as local freight service. The majority of its business is through interchange. The Chattooga & Chickamauga railway is a railroad common carrier in Georgia that provides freight services on two rail lines. The CCKY is a junction settlement carrier interchanging all traffic with the Norfolk Southern in Chattanooga, Tenn. The LXVR has nearly 35 miles of freight railroad between Columbus, Miss., and Belk, Ala. Chattooga & Chickamauga Railway is headquartered in La Fayette, Ga.
