Tolleson Lumber Company is a family owned company that has manufactured quality southern pine lumber for three generations. With sawmills in Perry and Preston, Ga., the company has the capacity to produce in excess of 370 million board feet annually, making it one of the largest independent lumber manufacturers in the South. The company s Preston sawmill accounts for more than 120 million board feet of its total production. The company also operates Tolleson Land and Timber, which buys and sells forestland in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky and Florida. Its other subsidiary, Tolleson Distribution and Remanufacturing, distributes forest products throughout the Eastern United States. Founded in 1919, Tolleson Lumber Company maintains its headquarters in Perry.
