Atlanta Speech School is a private, nonprofit organization that was established in 1938 to assist children and adults with communication disorders. It is one of Southeast's oldest therapeutic educational centers for children and adults with hearing, speech, language and learning disabilities. Located in Atlanta, the school provides comprehensive multidisciplinary services through its community preschool program, and communication and learning disorders programs. It operates various departments, including Anne & Jim Kenan Preschool, Katherine Hamm Center, Wardlaw School, Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Clinic and the Rollins Center for Language & Learning. The school also provides services to children not enrolled with its programs. The services include psychoeducational evaluations for children with learning disabilities, independent educational evaluations for hearing impaired children, auditory processing disorders assessments and summer programs.
