Atlanta Hardwood Corporation is a wholesale drying yard specialized in Appalachian hardwoods and is located in Mableton, Ga. It offers facilities, such as covered air-drying sheds, computerized kiln controls and variable-speed fans. It offers a variety of remanufacturing services, including surfacing, straight-line ripping and gang-ripped blanks. It has a dimension mill, 1 million board-feet of kiln capacity and expertise in hardwoods. Its plants have covered loading facilities to keep dry lumber in adverse weather conditions. Its premium hardwood is air-dried under sheds to guarantee flat and bright lumber. It processes, distributes and exports more than 40 million board-feet of hardwood lumber each year, including a variety of exotic and imported hardwoods.
