American Postal Workers Union (APWU) is one of the world's largest postal unions. Located in Atlanta, Ga., it represents more than 220,000 United States Postal Service (USPS) employees, retirees and close to 2,000 private-sector mail workers. For over four decades, the organization has engaged into various issues involving decent pay, benefits, safety conditions and other grievances for postal workers. American Postal Workers Union also offers a range of services to its members, including health plans, retirees plan, research and educational programs. It operates through a chain of state and local affiliates across the country.
