According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) there were approximately 28 million unintentional, non-fatal injuries in the United States in 2017 (the latest year for which data are currently available). The same research shows that there were nearly 170,000 deaths caused by unintentional injuries that same year. While many of these injuries and deaths may have been unintentional, that does not mean negligence was not involved. If you or your loved one has been hurt due to someone elses negligent actions, you deserve fair compensation for the harm you have endured.
