The City of Acworth Police Department is divided into three main operating divisions: uniform patrol, headquarters operations and detention center. Its mission is to serve as a Community Oriented Police Department that partners with the Acworth community in fighting and preventing crimes. The department runs a Community Oriented Policing Program, which provides Acworth residents with services such as developing neighborhood watch programs and residence checks while you are away from home for an extended period of time.
