Every Monday at noon, in an old factory building where slacks were once made, the old wooden floors resound with the sounds of conversation and the cry of the auctioneer as the doors open for another auction. Much of the merchandise up for bid is from the unsold stock of suppliers trying to recover some of their cost. Bidders are mostly small business owners, resellers and flea market vendors, along with private individuals. As it is an auction, the stock is ever-changing and there is a little bit of everything. At a small kitchen, customers can get breakfast and lunch, snacks and drinks. Parking is available in a lot across the street.
