Dalton's is an old-school barber shop. The two-chair shop takes customers on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is usually a line forming to get a classic cut and shave from the shop's owner, who has been cutting men's hair for more than half a century. Kenneth "Peanut" Dalton is a Snellville institution. A Gwinnett County native, he has created the type of old-fashioned atmosphere that rarely exists today and has a loyal clientele who stop by as much for the ambience and conversation as the haircut. But don't underestimate Dalton's expertise—his precision cuts have been honed over the course of 50-plus years and he wields his razor like the pro he is.
