Yusleidi Gil, M.D., is a primary care physician at Baptist Health specializing in disease prevention. She is fluent in English and Spanish. After earning her medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Dr. Gil completed her internal medicine residency at New York Medical College and St. Mary and St. Clare Hospitals. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Gil worked as a donor management coordinator at the University of Miami, where she collaborated with the medical director to evaluate organ donors for suitable transplants.In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gil has researched various subjects, including improving processes for screening and educating underserved communities and complications of the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.Dedicated to improving the long-term well-being of her patients, Dr. Gil strives to be an active part of their health journey. Through empathetic, compassionate and educational care, she helps patients achieve the best possible outcomes. Outside of work, Dr. Gil enjoys reading, dancing and traveling.
