WMBB is the ABC local television affiliate that provides news, programming, entertainment and information to residents of the greater Panama City, Fla., area. The station serves nine counties in the panhandle and has a viewing audience of more than 258,000. WMBB signed on the air in October, 1973, as WDTB-TV, an NBC affiliate. In 1977, WDTB was sold to Octagon Broadcasting of Atlanta, and the call letters were changed to WMBB, an acronym for the world's most beautiful beaches. The station is owned and operated by Media General, a diversified communications company that operates newspapers, television stations and online enterprises, primarily in the Southeastern United States.

Used to be the news leader.Not3 no more.If it wasn't for abc news you would have very little local news.Get some reporters and climb back to the top.

I like this station alot, but Tom Lewis has to go he has the worst voice for news that i have ever heard, when he is on i go to wjhg you have a lot of great young talent replace him please.

I really enjoy the team on the morning news. I time my shower so I can hear the morning trivia question. My problem is, I use an antenna to watch TV. Every channel comes in great except ABC/Wmbb....
