West Florida Electric Cooperative is a Touchstone Energy cooperative that is locally operated and owned by its consumers and members. The company has district offices in the Florida communities of Bonifay, Graceville and Sneads to help serve its customers and Internet subscribers. West Florida Electric serves more than 25,000 meters, which provides electricity and other services at competitive prices in Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson and Washington counties in northwest Florida. In addition to electricity, the company offers high-speed local Internet access, power generators, direct satellite systems, surge suppressors and appliances. Established in 1937, West Florida Electric has its headquarters in Graceville, Fla., and its service area is divided into nine districts, each represented by a member-elected trustee on the Co-op s board.
