The University of South Florida System is comprised of USF and USF St. Petersburg. USF consists of the main research campus in Tampa, which includes USF Health. There are also two regional campuses: USF Sarasota-Manatee and USF Polytechnic in Lakeland. Altogether, the USF System serves more than 47,000 students. USF (in Tampa) comprises 1,700 acres and has 11 colleges that offer 228 degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, specialists and doctoral levels.
USF Health includes the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, the School of Physical Therapy, and a network of hospitals and outpatient centers throughout Tampa. Nearby James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, All Children's Hospital, and Tampa General Hospital are all teaching hospitals for USF Health.
