Founded in 1963, the University of West Florida offers a variety of associate, bachelor s, master s, specialist and doctoral degree programs. The University operates the Emerald Coast Campus, Eglin AFB Center, W.E. Combs Campus, Research and Engineering Education Facility and Marianna Center. It enrolls more than 10,300 students and also offers a variety recreational, academic and research programs. The university offers graduate degree courses in arts, science and nursing. Additionally, it provides postgraduate programs in business administration, social work and public health. The University of West Florida offers specialist degree and doctorate programs in education. In addition, the university offers nondegree programs and enrolls counselors. It is located in Pensacola, Fla.
