The Parkinson's Center at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare provides diagnostic, consulting and high-quality patient care services. It also offers educational classes, caregiver training services, and counseling and ongoing support groups. The center s primary goal is to provide education regarding Parkinson's disease for clients, family members, caregivers and the community. The Parkinson's Center at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare has a staff that includes a full-time patient care coordinator, part-time office specialist, more than three board-certified neurologists, pharmacists and social workers. The center participates in ongoing data collection and research with the National Parkinson Foundation in Miami and other satellite centers around the state of Florida. Located in Tallahassee, Fla., it is a part of the Tallahassee Memorial NeuroScience Center.
