Moorings Club, founded in 1974, is a membership-owned, 18-hole, par 64 public championship golf course spread in area of more than 500 acres. The additional amenities offered by the club include a tennis complex, swimming pool, luncheon caf , snack bar, and dining and banquet facilities. It also has a yacht club that undertakes nautical adventures and a library that offers a wide selection of books and videos to members. The club provides training lessons to members and organizes corporate events and golf tournaments. It offers various activities that include weekly dining specials, cookout events, and offers catering services for wedding receptions, business meetings, golf outings and social functions.
