History
The Center for Bone & Joint Disease was founded by Dr. Peter D. Tyler in 1972. Dr. Tyler retired in 1991. Originally, The Center for Bone & Joint Disease was named Richey Orthopaedic Center. Its initial location was on School Road in New Port Richey, Fl. Then it moved to Grand Boulevard in 1975. Over the next several years, additional associates were added. In 1986 the organization successfully expanded by opening a satellite office in Hudson. In March 1999, we opened a third office in Spring Hill. The Spring Hill office was then replaced with the current Brooksville location in 2013. We also closed our New Port Richey location December, 2013. Our center has grown over the years because it has recognized the need of the community and its patients. The needs and satisfaction of our patients is the highest priority of The Center for Bone & Joint Disease. We anticipate this dedication will mean continued expansion of our services in the future.
