Mr. Papola is a 20 year veteran of the NYPD, and while employed as a NYC Police Officer, responded to the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. While serving in the NYPD, Steve was a NY state licensed insurance Agent. In 1996, he started with an Allstate agency as a part time sales associate. He then left Allstate in 1998 and began his own independent insurance agency. Upon the 9/11 attacks, Steve was forced to dissolve his business and take an active role in the 9/11 rescue efforts of his department. He also volunteered as a Cobra Team Member and was assigned to the Anti-Terrorist Section of the Brooklyn North Task Force.Upon his retirement from the NYPD in 2005 Steve relocated to Florida and became a Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer through St. Petersburg College. Steve served with the Pinellas County Schools Police, investigating Juvenile Criminal Activity, and providing Security Services for the Pinellas County Board of Education. From there he joined the Pasco County Sheriff's Office where he served as a Deputy Sheriff, Bailiff, and as a Special Incident Response Team Member in the 2012 Republican National Convention in concert with the Tampa Police Department SIRT Team Unit.After retiring from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office with 10 years of service to his community, Steve has returned to Allstate as an Agent. Steve brings his years of experience in protective service to Lutz and the surrounding communities. With over 10 years of insurance experience including both Property and Casualty, as well as Life, Annuities, and Retirement, helping provide protection to the community has been Steve's lifelong vocation.
