St. Paul Missionary Baptist is located on the corner of 6th Street East and Martin Luther King Avenue East. Originally founded in 1886 by Rev. J.W. Rosier, its current building was dedicated on Sept. 27, 1964. Under the guidance of its current pastor, Rev. James M. Roberts Jr., in place since 2002, the church offers Sunday school, a Tuesday Bible study and a Thursday prayer hour. The congregation is involved with various local ministries and is affiliated with Meals on Wheels, March of Dimes, Keep Manatee Beautiful and more.
