Established in 1984, Consultis has grown from offering management information system staff within mainframe environments to providing professionals for design and development projects in all types of information technology environments. Barbara Dettman Fleming founded Consultis with the know how she acquired through an apprenticeship she served with her father, Leroy E. Dettman, founder of what is now known as Spherion. In the early 40s, Leroy Dettman started a staffing company in Chicago, called City Car Unloaders. Consultis is headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla.
