History
Incorporated in 1969, South Florida Wildlife Center swiftly became the region's go to facility for compassionate and professional wildlife care. Collaboration has long been a Center mainstay; in 2009, the Center affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States in order to expand its ability to assist South Florida's wildlife and community. In 2020, after growing its expertise, programs, and services, South Florida Wildlife Center transitioned back to an independent entity. Skilled staff and volunteers care for more than 10,000 patients annually; through the years, more than 400 different species have received lifesaving treatment at the Center. We are 501(c)3 nonprofit organization: EIN 23-7086391
