History
As early as preschool, Tara learned to appriciate fine beauty products. She would often visit her mother, Carla, in the cosmetics department at Burdines, where she worked for over twenty years helping women look and feel beautiful. Carla had a calm about her that made her customers (and her family) feel at ease, instantly comfortable. Tara would also sit and watch her older sister, Reina, slather on moisturizers and carefully apply make-up, so it was no surprise that she decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. After losing their mother far too soon, Tara and her sisters kept their mother's spirit strong, as they continue to do today. Seeing a butterfly quietly flutter nearby means their mother was with them. The youngest sister of three (and perhaps the bravest), Jenna, had three little butterflies tattooed on her wrist to symbolize their uncommon sisterhood.
