Sebastian Middle School was established in 1990 and is located in St. Augustine, Fla. It provides educational classes to more than 750 students in grades six through eight. The school offers various programs, such as school-wide thematic instruction, regional and state science fair, career education, school advisory council, mental health counseling and after school remediation programs. It also offers a wide range of special events, including fall festival, night of the arts, science fair and expo, geography bee, multi-cultural fair and fieldtrip. The school provides education in a variety of subjects that include art, reading, social studies, science, language arts, math and physical education. Sebastian Middle School is operated by the St. Johns County School District that also operates other elementary, middle and high schools.
