St Peter's Episcopal Church St. Peter's Church is a diverse parish family of over 400 members, located in the suburban "hometown" community of Plant City, Florida. It is part of the Diocese of Southwest Florida. St. Peter's goal is to provide a meaningful place to worship God, opportunities to grow in the knowledge of Christ, and to share his redeeming love with each other, our community and the world. We hope you will take time to learn about us and join us. We are located at the edge of the historic district of Plant City, Florida. We have the distinction of being one of the oldest public buildings in the city, and the oldest church building still being used by its original congregation. The "Carpenter Gothic" architecture gives a sense of our history of tradition and worship. The church is cross-shaped, a traditional Episcopal church design. St Peter's has a very active church community. There are a variety of worship opportunities throughout the week. We have two services on Sunday morning, a healing service on Wednesdays at noon and Compline is prayed after the Wonderful Wednesday community meals.
