I don't understand how a city can charge you to access a public facility, that was paid for with public dollars it's absurd to me that you have to pay any money to access a public facility.

Pretty neat pier. There is a charge though to walk or fishing on pier. We saw a shark and some jellyfish. The pier is taken care of no graffiti. It's a tourist attraction but well worth the visit.
