HistoryDana Dowling Grethe became injured as an adult training for a race. She decided to employ Kim's (co-owner SYL) expertise and her passion for health and fitness to help her and found an outlet to help others -- Throughout many bodywork sessions, Kim shared her expertise and knowledge of AIS, biomechanics, kinesiology, and massage. Dana absorbed and applied the information and went on to run multiple short and long distances races, studied and received her licenses and created Stretching Your Life, LLC with Kim so that they could similarly improve the lives of others through hands on therapy and education.SpecialtiesStretching Your Life offers practical solutions for everyday health challenges and needs. The company provides ongoing wellness and injury education along with massage and stretch therapy in individual and group sessions. We inspire individuals to take charge of their health and motivate them to gain control over their pain and inhibited mobility. Our staff focuses on massage therapy to loosen Myofascial tissue; Laser Therapy, the Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) approach, the Mattes Method, to reduce pain and improve mobility; and strength training to improve muscular imbalances.
