The Ridge Career Center, formerly known as the Ridge Vocational-Technical Center, offers a variety of educational programs for students. Its academic curriculum includes classes in English, reading, health science, cosmetology, digital design and marketing. The center administers various massage therapy, pharmacy technician and practical nursing programs. The Ridge Career Center offers several industrial education programs in the areas of carpentry, architecture, electricity, and air conditioning, refrigeration and heating technologies. It also conducts GED preparation classes, as well as provides career counseling services. The center operates a media center that provides a range of books, reference materials, encyclopedias and magazines. It is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Ridge Career Center is located in Winter Haven, Fla.
