Led by the Rev. Christopher Kruschel, Living Savior Lutheran Church offers traditional worship every Sunday starting at 10am followed by a coffee fellowship. In addition, Sunday school and an adult Bible class are offered at 9am. The church was formed in 1991 and began meeting at Center Place until it moved to its present facility at 2650 Lithia-Pinecrest Road, Valrico, in 1999. Bible classes are provided throughout the week from Bible discovery classes for Bible novices to Bible enrichment classes that provide in-depth study. Sunday school classes are offered for all age groups and confirmation classes are available for children in sixth through eighth grade. The church also hosts a vacation Bible school during the summer. The needs of its teen members is addressed through its Active Christian Teens group, which meets every month to discuss timely issues. Through its Community Care Committee, the church reaches out to the community, especially those living in care facilities. Christian counseling is offered to those who face a crisis in their lives.
