Propulsion Technology has two in-house Federal Aviation Administration designated engineering representatives (DER) to develop and substantiate new repairs. The company provides repair and engineering services to the commercial aviation industry. Propulsion Technology is a source of repairs of JT8D, CF6, CFM56, V2500 and CF34 engine components for a customer base that includes all of the United States airlines, as well as many foreign airline operators. The company specializes in the repairs of low and high power consumption stators and cases, gearboxes, knife-edge air seals and other components for more than 40 types of aircraft engines. Propulsion Technology also has well-equipped production facilities that allow in-house repairs based on machining, grinding, welding, plasma spray, rubber injection, heat treating, painting, aluminizing, cleaning, coordinate measuring and other high-tech processes. The company was founded in 1983.
