Established in 1955 Guy Perenich started his college career at Notre Dame but after three years left the Fighting Irish to join the navy to serve our country aboard the Harry F. Bauer Destroyer in the Pacific. For his commitment and duties, Guy was honored with a U.S. Navy Presidential Citation and a World War II Pacific Theatre Operation Citation. Upon returning to dry land, he returned to Notre Dame where he graduated with honors and proceeded on to Columbia University, one of the top three law schools in the country at the time. Guy transferred to George Washington University School of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1952. Guy moved to Florida and became an insurance adjuster assigned to Pinellas County. He did this for three years, settling cases
