Founded in 2000, Pedro Menendez High School offers classes from grades nine through 12 and has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students. It offers curriculum in English, fine arts, math, physical education, reading, science and social studies. It also offers advanced scholars program and world language courses in French, Spanish and American sign language. Located in St. Augustine, Fla., the school s counseling department offer services, such as new student registration, academic advising, student scheduling, scholarship resources, college information and planning, career research and testing administration. The school also has teams in sports, such as tennis, football, golf, soccer, baseball, tennis, hockey, cross country, cheerleading, wrestling and weightlifting. Pedro Menendez High School is a part of St. Johns County School District that operates more than 35 educational institutions and serves over 25,000 students. The district schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
