The Miami Children's Hospital Department of Orthopaedics also known as Pediatric Orthopaedics, is one of Florida's largest and most comprehensive providers of services for the care of musculoskeletal system problems in children. The department has a staff that includes orthopaedic surgeons, technicians and residents and nurse coordinators who are trained to meet the special needs of children of all ages-from birth through adolescence. Its surgeons perform over 800 surgical procedures each year. The Miami Children's Hospital Department of Orthopaedics provides diagnosis and treatment for fractures, sports-related problems, and scoliosis, spinal, genetic skeletal and foot disorders. Located in Miami, the department is a part of Miami Children's Hospital.
