Palm Gardens of Pinellas is a non-medical live-in rehabilitation center. The facility does not act as an emergency room or health clinic that serves the general public, but does provide services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, mental health therapy and physician services to those who are residents of the facility; occupational therapy can be given to non-residents. Palm Gardens is equipped with a lab so that it may function as a full-scale medical center for those in need of radical, round the clock treatment.
There are dietitians and nutritionists, nurses, food service employees, physicians, and administrative employees who are scheduled at all hours throughout the day to ensure that residents receive the care they need at any given time. The size of the facility is immense; interested patients should call and schedule an appointment since the administrators will have to direct them to the appropriate building. The buildings are separated according to needs, for example, physical therapy or mental health. There are 120 beds available at Palm Gardens.
