The Palm Beach County-Public Safety Department is comprised of various divisions, including animal care, consumer affairs, emergency management, and justice and victim services. The Palm Beach County-Public Safety Department s consumer affairs division assists residents and visitors with advice and information about unfair, fraudulent and deceptive practices of businesses and landlords. Its justice services division provides professional assistance to citizens in the areas of mentoring, monitoring, arbitration, guardianship, legal representation, guidance, counseling, therapy, education, psychological testing and evaluation.
