The Palm Beach County Library System houses a collection of more than 1.4 million books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs and CDs. The system offers a variety of printed, recorded and downloadable books. It provides over 6,000 special programs for approximately 180,000 children. The Palm Beach County Library System serves nearly 8,000 individuals with computer and Internet programs. Established in 1967, the system features several main, regional and branch libraries, as well as a bookmobile and library annex. It also offers a variety of informational and recreational books in Spanish, French, German and other foreign languages. The Palm Beach County Library System is headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla.
