Olinda Elementary School has been operational for more than 35 years and is located in Miami. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 3,700 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides academic education in various subjects, such as art, music, physical education, reading, English as a Second Language, speech, math, science, social studies and computer instruction. It offers the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test, which measures and monitors students ability in reading, writing, mathematics and science. In addition, the school provides transportation, medical care and food services to students. Olinda Elementary School is governed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle, high, alternative and charter schools.
