Street parking is limited at the Naples Pier. However, there is a parking lot a block away that offers metered parking for visitors.
Best and worse time to go to Naples Pier
If you prefer a quieter visit, plan to arrive between June and October when the seasonal residents are at a minimum. The best time to visit the Naples Pier is in the evening when the landmark offers the best views of sunset, or for 4th of July when fireworks are launched over the waters.
Admission to Naples Pier
There is no charge to walk the pier outside of parking. Entrance is free to both the pier and surrounding beaches. Likewise, it is the only location in Naples that does not require a fishing permit.
Must see/do at Naples Pier
Many people enjoy bringing a fishing rod to partake in the abundant opportunities. The beautiful waters, scenic backdrop and variety of wildlife make it an ideal spot for photography as well. On the beaches surrounding the Pier is a volleyball net with a game always in play.

The Naples Pier is located in the heart of the Downtown District, and provides a plethora of shopping and dining opportunities within an easy walk. Also right around the corner is the historic Palm Cottage, run by the Naples Historical Society, that offers a glimpse into what life was like when the city was originally founded and developed.

Arriving earlier in the day provides better parking opportunities. The Naples Pier is also a prime location to catch dolphins, stingrays, and a variety of other sea life in action.
