Mount Zion Progressive store is part of the Missionary Baptist Church. Its history starts back in 1928 and was founded by a group of community leaders. Mt. Zion's mission is to bring about “effective change” in its community. The store sells hand-me-down and gently used items that include clothes, furniture and kitchen appliances.
