Tri-Us Inc is a family owned and operated business established in 1984. We offer a wide range of paper products, cleaning chemicals, packaging, equipment, and janitorial supplies, including many named brand items. Tri-Us has provided competitive prices and unmatched customer service to west central Florida for over 25 years. As a company with a limited sales force, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and loyalty to promote our business. And now with a new web store, we can provide that same outstanding customer service to valued patrons across the US and Canada. Tri-Us came to fruition in 1982, originating from the garage of a single family home and using a 1979 Buick La Sabre as a delivery vehicle. David Bud Romito founded Tri-Us soon after retiring from Dubois Chemicals in late 1982. In 1984 the business became Tri-Us Incorporated and was moved to a small unit in a mobile home park. Armed with a 1975 Dodge van, the business grew over the next few years, later a storage trailer was added along with an expansion to the original office. The staff was also expanded to include Dino Romito, Billy Krebs and part timer Jimmy Romito. By 1989 Marcy ( Romito ) Huffman was added to the roster as an inside and outside salesperson. In January of 1989, Bud Romito passed away leaving the business in the capable hands of his two children, Marcy and Dino, along with grandson Jimmy. In 1995 Tri-Us Inc was on the move again, this time to a new building in St. Petersburg Florida, just a few blocks down the street from the mobile home park For the next six years the building was expanded as the business grew until it was no longer adequate to support the rapid growth of the company. February of 2001 marked the future of Tri-Us Inc, a 10, 000 square foot building in Clearwater was purchased with plenty of warehouse space and a large walk in store front to display the many items Tri-Us has to offer. Two new vehicles were added to the fleet and a new office employee, Val Romito, the late Bud Romito's wife. At the young age of 84, the retiree of 20 years with J.C. Penny, Mrs. Romito oversees all operations and is at the center point of all business maters. In 2009, now with over 25 years of service to west central Florida, Tri-Us has expanded the family business online with a new web store. The web store has helped long time customers in their ordering process and has established new customers from coast to coast. The Romito family would like to thank everyone who has been with us throughout the years and of course the new friends we have the privilege to work with on a daily basis. We promise to keep up that same customer loyalty and friendship that Bud Romito started 27 years ago.
