During the years, Ocala Stud has bred and sold one Horse of the Year, four Divisional Champions, 26 winners of at least $200,000, and more than 90 stakes winners. Ocala Stud sold its first crop of two-year-old stallions in 1958. Since that time, it has become a tradition for the farm to sell its entire juvenile crop at the Ocala Breeders training sales in Ocala, Fla. Ocala Stud has a policy to never race and never hold back its promising juveniles. The success of its policy has earned the farm a reputation that has endured for more than 45 years. Ocala has several stallions in its stables, such as Conerto, Slew Gin Fizz, Drewman, Trippi and Sweetsouthernsaint.
