Kiyoshi's Sushi is a reinvention of the restaurant of the same name from our prior Downtown Sarasota location. After a 7 year absence from the restaurant field we now reopen our doors to the Sarasota public within our new location. Kiyoshi Noro is a classically trained Sushi Chef from Tokyo. There he began his apprenticeship with master artisans to start his career. Mid Career Chef Kiyoshi moved on towards New York in order to refine his skill sets and further his knowledge of the culinary field in both Traditional and nonTraditional menthods. In 1992 Kiyoshi would eventually settle in Sarasota, FL. From there on he managed and ultimately opened his own restaurant. Within downtown Sarasota, FL Kiyoshi opened Kiyoshi's Japanese Restaurant with a flare for Traditional Japanese Sushi and cuisine. For over 7 years Kiyoshi's Japanese Restaurant gained great fan fare until the great recession of 08. After the great recession Kiyoshi's could not justify the rising cost of operation.
Specialties
Kiyoshi's Sushi specialize in Traditional and NonTraditional Japanese Sushi. We also utilize in a conveyor belt sushi format. This means there are very little wait times due to having fresh sushi prepared ahead of time for customers on the go.
