My husband Scott & I are the heartbeats behind Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream. Years ago, while going through nursing school, I took on a part-time job scooping ice cream. It not only helped pay my way through school but it gave me a much-needed break from studying. And, oh the smiles! Have you ever noticed that most people are happy when you are handing them an ice cream? Well, I never forgot. And little did I know what a lasting impression that made on me. Along the way, we picked up a commercial grade ice cream maker - which just elevated our efforts. We then took our skills to local farmers' markets in our really cool pink-and-white food truck and found great success. In 2015 we opened our first ice cream shop in Audubon Park. In 2017 we opened up our second location in Orlando (Fern Creek) and now onto our third location in Oviedo in early 2020. We LOVE what we do and you can tell with your first taste of our yummy homemade ice cream.
