Walk into the main building, and you will see racks and racks of costumes of every kind. Over 10,000 costumes hang from the ceiling, cling to the walls, and guard the aisles. Need a Santa Claus costume? You have dozens from which you can choose. Interested in wowing your significant other? There is an entire corner devoted to fantasy costumes. Of course, being a South Tampa establishment, this store specializes in pirate garb for men and women. Check out the shoe department where you can find pirate boots for men and women and the cutest platform shoes adorned with pirate faces. Costumes can either be purchased or rented, and the store can make custom costumes as well. The store also has make-up and accessories, like those hard-to-find tiaras and crowns. When you have seen the costumes, head out back to the Bead Barn, whose entrance is guarded by a Jolly Roger adorned with beads. Only in South Tampa would you find a store with an entire building devoted to selling beads. This is where Ye Ole Mystic Krewe and hundreds of other Gasparilla revellers come to buy their beads.
