Dr. Edmond received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, he completed a Clinical & Research Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Johns Hopkins, US News, & World Report #1 Hospital on Honor Roll in 1998. He was selected to participate in the Faculty Development Program and the Business of Medicine Certificate Program (first year of MBA Program). In addition, he was asked to stay on with the Johns Hopkins Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, but he opted to return to Florida to practice medicine in the Tampa area after serving as a staff instructor physician. Dr. Edmond has been in the practice for more than 20 years. He served for many years on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's Association of Florida. He also served as the Chief of Medicine for Spring Hill Hospital.
