Formerly known as Gary Public School, Gary Adult High School was established in 1912. The school provides a variety of career, technical and adult education programs. Located in Tampa, Fla., it offers courses in business education, computer technology, human resources and corporate training. Gary Adult High School also provides family literacy, GED testing and industrial technology programs. The school offers an adult cooperative training program that focuses in the development of social and independent living skills in people with disabilities. It provides an on-site job training program that includes merchandise handling, stocking and employment skills development topics.
