The South Area Adult Community Education Center operates day and night schools that provide high school diploma program for adolescents and youths. It offers classes in language arts, creative writing, journalism, psychology and sociology. The South Area Adult Community Education Center also provides instruction in humanities, drawing and painting, parenting education, and health and life management. It offers the Adult Basic Education (ABE), ESL and GED preparation programs.
