Founded in 1998, Indian River Charter High School enrolls more than 600 students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in English, history, math and science. It also offers sports activities that include golf, football, basketball and baseball. Indian River Charter High School administers the Visual and Performing Arts Program, which includes classes in dance, drama, creative writing, and vocal and instrumental music. In addition, the school organizes art exhibitions and book fairs. It has a parent action committee that encourages parental involvement in children s education. The school additionally has a library that offers a range of books and resource sets. Indian River Charter High School is located in Vero Beach, Fla.
