Hugh's Catering has been setting the pace for the catering business since it opened in 1980. Hugh McCauley, a third generation native of Fort Lauderdale, owns and operates the business from their new Oakland Park location (along with Jackie McClennan, his business partner). Hugh gained his culinary hands-on experience working at resorts in Aspen, Cape Cod and Fort Lauderdale. His formal training he aquired at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. Through the years, the business has experienced nearly every type of catering imaginable, from small intimate dinner parties to fund raisers and charity functions which number in excess of 5000 meals and, in recent years, the hurricane relief work with FPL serving up to 9000 meals each day
