First Baptist Church of Merritt Island
First Baptist Church, located in Merritt Island, Fla., offers worship services, Bible study, outreach programs and various community services. The church comprises various ministries, such as the Super Senior Singers, the Space Coast orchestra, music and worship, children s, adult and youth ministries. It organizes various events for its members, such as luncheons, dinners, seasonal picnics, fellowship nights and suppers, Christmas workshops, winter retreats and carnivals. The church also offers Christian development programs and organizes various activities, such as music, choir, recreation, committee work, physical therapy and yoga classes. It has a Christian school that minister to more than 700 students from preschool through grade 12. First Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Florida Baptist Convention and the Brevard Baptist Association.
