Bradenton Christian School
Bradenton Christian School is a private Christian school, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Florida Council of Independent Schools, Florida Kindergarten Council, Christian Schools of Florida and the National Council for Private School Accreditation. Located in Bradenton, Fla., BCS is a member school of Christian Schools International and the Bay Conference. Founded in 1960, the school offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades prekindergarten through 12. Its curriculum at the elementary level includes Bible studies, computer education, languages, arts and crafts, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies and English. Its secondary curriculum offers interim courses, in addition to regular classroom instruction. BCS provides interscholastic sports at the high school and middle school levels, including basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and track. Extracurricular activities at the school include student council, Yearbook National Beta club, French and Spanish club, National Honor Society and Random Acts of Kindness.
